The Superior Court is Georgia's general jurisdiction trial court. It has jurisdiction over both criminal cases such as felony cases, divorce cases, equity cases and cases that involve a jury. Washington County is part of the Middle Judicial Circuit. There are eight judges on the circuit that rotate through multiple counties. Honorable Kathy S.
