O.C.G.A. § 16-11-100

A person can be guilty of violating this statute in two different ways.

The first way is when a person leaves any abandoned, unattended, or discarded container which has a compartment of more than 1 1/2 cubic feet capacity and a door or lid which locks or fastens automatically when closed and which cannot easily be opened from the inside, without first removing the lid, door, or locking device from such container and it is accessible to children.

The second way is when a person leaves in any place accessible to children any abandoned or discarded motor vehicle which does not have at least one door which can easily be opened from the inside or one door or window which has been removed.
