The Superior Court is Georgia's general jurisdiction trial court. It has jurisdiction over both criminal cases such as felony cases, divorce cases, equity cases and cases that involve a jury. For example, if you are charged with a misdemeanor or traffic violation but request a jury trial, you will be transferred to McIntosh County Superior Court.
McIntosh County is part of the Atlantic Judicial Circuit. There are four judges on the circuit that rotate through multiple counties. Honorable Robert L.
