The Superior Court is Georgia's general jurisdiction trial court. It has jurisdiction over both criminal cases such as felony cases, divorce cases, equity cases and cases that involve a jury. Greene County is part of the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit. There are five judges on the circuit that rotate through multiple counties. Honorable William A. Prior, Jr. is the Chief Judge for the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit and his office can be reached at 706-342-0672. Judge E. Trenton Brown III, Judge Alison Burleson, Judge Brenda Holbert Trammel, and Judge Amanda Petty are the other judges on the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit.
