The Superior Court is Georgia's general jurisdiction trial court. It has jurisdiction over both criminal cases such as felony cases, divorce cases, equity cases and cases that involve a jury. For example, if you are charged with a misdemeanor or traffic violation but request a jury trial, you will be transferred to Jenkins County Superior Court. 

Jenkins County is part of the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit. There are three judges on the circuit that rotate through multiple counties. Honorable William E. Woodrum Jr. is the Chief Judge for the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit and his office can be reached at 912-764-4251. Judge F. Gates Peed and Judge John R. Turner. are the other two judges that serve on the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit. Richard A. Mallard is the District Attorney for Ogeechee Judicial Circuit and his office can be reached at 912-764-9924. Jenkins County Probate Court

Jenkins County Probate Court prosecutes misdemeanors and traffic violations that occur in Jenkins County but outside of the City Limits of Millen. Judge Wanda Burke. presides over Jenkins County Probate Court. Probate Court is held at 611 East Winthrope Avenue, Millen, Georgia 30467.
